Chef Ramaskanda Shastry, Ranbir Kapoor's private chef, shared the actor's fitness journey post the success of 'Animal.' Emphasizing the importance of a balanced diet and moderation in meals for optimal health.

Behind the scenes: Ranbir Kapoor's transformation journey for 'Animal' revealed by his chef 

After the massive success of 'Animal', Ranbir Kapoor's private chef Ramaskanda Shastry shared what the actor's diet consisted of during the course of the film's shoot.

On Instagram, Shastry stated that it was crucial for Ranbir's character to gain some weight and muscle. Hence, it was important to make all the right efforts in his diet, no matter where he travelled for the shoot.

Ranbir's diet mainly consisted of large quantities of nutritious food, that helped him to build muscle power and proper physique as required by the character.

However, the trick was to keep meals in moderation and the ensure the right amount of exercise to keep yourself fit and healthy.

Sharing the post chef Ramaskanda Shastry wrote " When the prep for Animal began, we knew we were preparing for something “MASSive”. Since it was crucial for Ranbir’s character to look a certain way, it was essential that he gained some weight and muscle, and so, we put in all our effort on his diet.

No matter where we travelled to shoot, no matter how difficult the conditions in which we were shooting, Ranbir didn’t ever compromise on his diet. The Animal Diet was mainly eating large quantities of nutritious food, that helped build his body. We kept a track of what he was eating and made sure he was consistently eating even during the diet fluctuations throughout the movie.

It is our privilege and pleasure @theprivatechefsclub that we got to play a small part in his journey of becoming the Animal!
