Cannes 2022: Take cues from Anne Hathaway and Julia Roberts on how to keep it understated yet classy

While Cannes is all about going all out with your outfit, makeup and jewellery; there are a few celebrities who resisted the urge to go overboard with their red carpet look and still managed to make a statement. No over-the-top gowns, no loud makeup and no whacky hairdos. These celebrities kept it classic, chic and minimalistic.

This year at the Cannes Film Festival, Anne Hathaway and Julia Roberts took our breath away with their elegant yet head-turning outfits. Anne wore an Armani Privé gown embellished with sequins, trimmed with a whisper-thin sheer panel and completed the look with an off-the-shoulder shawl. She paired her outfit with silver heels and a Bulgari necklace.

On the other hand, Julia Roberts opted for a monochrome outfit by Louis Vuitton. She accessorised her outfit with statement rings from Chopard and wore high-heeled stilettos.
