Delhi government set to adopt UP's IGRS and CM Dashboard for better governance

The BJP-led Delhi government is set to replicate the Uttar Pradesh government’s Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS) and CM Dashboard to enhance administrative efficiency and citizen service delivery.

A delegation of Delhi government officials recently spent two days in Lucknow studying both models, implemented under the leadership of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

“The Delhi govt has formally requested support from the UP govt to implement the IGRS and CM Dashboard in Delhi. The request reflects growing recognition of UP's governance innovations under Yogi Adityanath's leadership,” a government spokesperson said.

According to officials, delegations from various states have been visiting Uttar Pradesh to study its governance models. The Delhi team, in particular, was impressed by the technological and administrative framework of the IGRS and CM Dashboard. A prior presentation by the Uttar Pradesh government had highlighted how the two systems allow real-time tracking of citizen feedback and departmental performance.

“Subsequently, a team of Delhi govt officials visited Lucknow for an in-depth, two-day assessment of both the administrative and technical aspects of the systems. The team recognized the model as technically sound, citizen-centric, and highly effective,” the spokesperson added.

The IGRS, launched by CM Adityanath, aims to ensure prompt, transparent, and accountable grievance redressal. The CM Dashboard functions as a central monitoring system for development projects, enabling real-time updates and improved oversight of government schemes across the state.

The adoption of these platforms by the Delhi government signals a growing inter-state exchange of best practices in governance and technology-led public service reform.
