Tragic Accident in Telangana: 19 Dead in Bus-Lorry Collision

Hyderabad, Nov 4 (PTI) — A tragic accident occurred in Telangana when a gravel-laden tipper lorry collided head-on with a government bus in the Ranga Reddy district, resulting in the death of 19 individuals. Over 30 others sustained injuries in this unfortunate incident.

Currently, 30 injured individuals are receiving medical attention in various hospitals.

Most of them are expected to be discharged on Tuesday, according to the police.

A police official informed PTI that none of the injured victims suffered major injuries.

Initially, a total of 38 passengers were provided medical treatment, with eight of them already discharged.

Meanwhile, the bodies of the deceased have been returned to their families following post-mortem examinations.

Of the 19 who lost their lives, funerals for 17 individuals have been completed, according to the official.
