Imphal, July 4 (PTI) - On Friday, Manipur Chief Secretary PK Singh stated that there has been no formal notification regarding a potential visit by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Singh made these remarks while addressing questions about rumors that Modi might visit the state affected by ethnic conflict later this month. "We have no information about any such plans. There is an expectation, but as of now, no official communication has been received," Singh informed reporters during an event. Currently, Modi is undertaking a five-nation tour scheduled from July 2 to July 9. Some media outlets have reported that separate meetings were conducted by Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan and Governor Ajay Bhalla, and that security personnel have been briefed about a potential visit by the Prime Minister. Additionally, the Monsoon Session of Parliament is set to commence on July 21 and will continue until August 12.
