MP CM Mohan Yadav announces state-level Keer Samaj Panchayat, praises community’s role in unity

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Sunday said that “history is created by societies that work in unity.”

He was addressing the Keer Samaj Mahasammelan in Ujjain virtually from Samatva Bhavan at his residence. Referring to the community’s devotion, he said, “They were blessed to receive the sacred dust of Shri Ram’s feet and helped him cross the Bhavsagar, asking nothing in return but blessings to cross life’s challenges.”

The Chief Minister announced that a state-level Keer Samaj Panchayat will soon be held in the capital. He praised the community for recognizing Shri Ram as a divine incarnation rather than just a human being.

Dr. Yadav noted that the Keer Samaj is progressing through initiatives such as education promotion and de-addiction campaigns. He said blessings from communities like the Keer Samaj had given him the opportunity to serve as Chief Minister.

Highlighting government schemes, the CM said infrastructure and education are being prioritised. He informed that meritorious students are receiving scooters and laptops, while scholarships, textbooks and uniforms are making education more accessible. He also interacted with women present at the event and discussed welfare initiatives, including the Ladli Behna Yojana.

Congratulating the community, Dr. Yadav said the Keer Samaj was encouraging talent, celebrating cultural festivals together, promoting social harmony and spreading spiritual awareness.

The Mahasammelan began with the oath-taking ceremony of the state executive, followed by deliberations. Meritorious students were felicitated, while Shri Gaya Prasad Keer, Chairperson of ‘Maa Puri Bai Keer’ Welfare Board, State President Shri Komal Singh and other representatives also addressed the gathering.
