Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will distribute appointment letters to 1,060 newly recruited employees of state power companies on August 26. The state-level ceremony will take place at Ravindra Bhavan at 12 noon.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister will also be felicitated for approving 51,711 new permanent posts created under the restructured organisational framework of the power companies.

The new recruits have been selected through examinations conducted by the Energy Department to fill vacant posts in power companies. Energy Minister Shri Pradyumna Singh Tomar reviewed the preparations for the program on Monday at the Mantralaya. He instructed officials to ensure all arrangements are completed within the stipulated time and personally inspected the venue. Additional Chief Secretary (Energy) Shri Neeraj Mandloi shared detailed information about the event during the meeting.

“Recruitment has been carried out through MP Online based on the government’s Sankalp-Patra (manifesto),” Shri Tomar said. The appointments cover a wide range of positions including power engineers, civil engineers, accounts officers, IT managers, assistant law officers, line attendants, security officers, pharmacists, chemists, ANMs, tracers, staff nurses, lab technicians, radiographers, ECG technicians, publicity officers and medical officers.

Family members of the newly appointed employees have also been invited to the ceremony. Alongside the event, an exhibition highlighting the achievements of the state’s power companies will be organised. In addition, discussions will be held with representatives of electricity employees’ organisations on matters related to staff welfare and consumer services.

Senior officials including Shri Avinash Lavania, Managing Director of Power Management Company, and Shri Kshitij Singhal, Managing Director of Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company, attended the review meeting along with other top officers.
