CM Mohan Yadav to visit Spain from July 16–19 to boost investment and global partnerships for MP

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will embark on an official visit to Spain from July 16 to 19, 2025, aimed at bolstering industrial development and job creation in the state through global investments.

He will address the ‘Invest in Madhya Pradesh’ Business Forum in Madrid and take part in high-level meetings focused on industry, tourism, sports, culture, and film production. The Chief Minister is scheduled to depart from Dubai on Tuesday and will arrive in Madrid later that night.

On July 16, the visit will begin with a courtesy call by India’s Ambassador to Spain, Shri Dinesh K. Patnaik. This will be followed by CM Dr. Yadav’s address as the chief guest at the ‘Invest in Madhya Pradesh’ Business Forum. Senior government officials will present Madhya Pradesh’s strengths in tourism, industrial policy, investment potential, IT, and infrastructure during the session.

The forum will open with a welcome address by Shri Ilayaraja T, Secretary to the Government of Madhya Pradesh and Secretary to the Chief Minister. Shri Juan Ignacio Entrecanales, President of the Spain-India Council Foundation, will also speak at the event. Shri Rohan Grover, CEO of Nature Biofoods, will share his experiences in doing business with Madhya Pradesh.

CM Dr. Yadav will outline various sector-wise investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh to Spanish business leaders. A networking lunch will provide an opportunity for him to interact with prominent industrialists and representatives of different organizations.

The Chief Minister will also attend a presentation by Jorge Betancourt of the globally recognized sports infrastructure firm ‘Populous’, focusing on the development of modern sports facilities in Madhya Pradesh.

In addition, the President of the Spain Film Commission will meet CM Dr. Yadav to explore possibilities for international film shooting and collaborative ventures in Madhya Pradesh. He will also tour the world-renowned Prado Museum during his visit.

CM Dr. Yadav is expected to interact with members of the Indian business community residing in Spain and will conclude the day by attending a special dinner event in Madrid.
