CM Mohan Yadav announces 50% subsidy for agro-based industries in Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reaffirmed the state's commitment to development and trust with the people of Gadarwara while addressing a public gathering in Narsinghpur district on Monday.

He emphasized the government's focus on promoting agro-based industries and enhancing public infrastructure.

Dr. Yadav announced that farmers in the state would be encouraged to set up agro-based industries, which would be supported by agricultural trade fairs and subsidies of up to 50%.

Additionally, employment-generating units linked to agriculture will be launched, offering monthly wages of ₹5,000 to workers.

He also announced the establishment of a Gaushala in Gadarwara and improvements in public transportation services across the state. During the event, he inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development projects worth over ₹80 crore.

The Chief Minister praised the developmental progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, noting India’s rise in global stature. “As the Prime Minister completes 11 years of service and good governance, the achievements are evident to all,” he said.

Dr. Yadav highlighted several national milestones, including the peaceful passage of the Triple Talaq law, abrogation of Article 370, a firm response to the Pahalgam attack, and the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha in Ayodhya.

“Under his leadership, significant progress is being made in empowering the poor, youth, farmers and women,” he added.

Mission to Educate the New Generation

As part of efforts to uplift education, Dr. Yadav welcomed newly admitted students with a traditional ‘Tilak’ and distributed books. “Efforts are being made to provide quality education so that children can understand the values of democracy, culture, and civilization and realise their dreams,” he said.

Women Empowerment a Priority

Emphasizing the government's commitment to women, the Chief Minister reiterated his focus on schemes like ‘Ladli Behna Yojana’.

“The monthly amount will be increased to ₹3,000 within five years. Every month now feels like a festive occasion for sisters,” he said. He also confirmed that 33% reservation for women would be enforced in Lok Sabha and Assembly elections after delimitation.

During the event, CM Dr. Yadav inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 135 development works worth ₹80.46 crore. These included 67 completed projects and 68 new projects.

He promised to fulfill proposals submitted by Minister Uday Pratap Singh and ensure solar power connections to farmers for reliable electricity access.

Statewide Launch of Mukhyamantri Sugam Bus Yojana

Dr. Yadav announced the launch of the Mukhyamantri Sugam Bus Yojana across Madhya Pradesh. Bus services under the State Transport Corporation would resume across the state for better public convenience.

He also declared the construction of a 132 kV substation in Saikheda, a 20 km road from Chichli to Salichouka at ₹60 crore, and a 17.5 km road from Arjungaon to Gadarwara at ₹27 crore.

Promoting local artisans, he encouraged the use of traditional bronze and brass utensils and reiterated cultural celebrations like Guru Purnima, Krishna Janmashtami, Ravana Dahan, and Shastra Poojan. He also acknowledged the progress in water conservation and river-linking projects under Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan.

Felicitation of Students and Teachers

The Chief Minister felicitated meritorious students of Classes 10 and 12 and honored teachers for their excellence in academics.

Minister Uday Pratap Singh expressed gratitude, noting, “CM Dr. Yadav has sanctioned development works worth ₹350 crores for Gadarwara within one and a half years.” He also thanked the CM for allocating ₹2 crores for beautifying the Gadarwara pond.

Dr. Yadav visited an exhibition by the Education Department and interacted with students. Several dignitaries, including MP Chaudhary Darshan Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Maya Narolia, and MLAs Vishwanath Singh Patel and Vijay Pal Singh, were present.
