The Mangalore cops on Thursday arrested three thieves involved in phone snatching incidents.

It all started as a cop spotted a thief snatching a person's mobile phone. What happened next is as dramatic as any good movie chase scene.

In a video that has now gone viral, cops are seen engaged in a dramatic chase to pin down the culprits.

The video shows a cop rushing out of the police van and running after an alleged thief. The cop can be seen running down the narrow lanes and dodging traffic on a street. After a long and dramatic, the cop finally gets his hands on the culprit. The cops is seen pinning the alleged thief down on the road.

Mangaluru city police arrested three thieves involved in snatching cell phone of a migrant labourer on Thursday. "The victim was a migrant labourer and his mobile was snatched by 2-3 people. One was arrested red-handed and others were arrested later," said N Shashikumar, Commissioner of Police, Mangaluru City.
