In a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) also said that India "completely rejects the false narrative" sought to be created by extremist elements regarding certain recent events in Bangladesh.&nbsp;
"It is unfortunate that the interim government has neither conducted a thorough investigation nor shared meaningful evidence with India regarding the incidents," it said shortly after summoning Hamidullah.&nbsp;
The MEA, however, did not elaborate on the incidents. "We expect the interim government to ensure the safety of Missions and Posts in Bangladesh in keeping with its diplomatic obligations," the MEA said. It said the envoy was apprised of India's strong concerns about the deteriorating security environment in Bangladesh.&nbsp;
"His attention was drawn, in particular, to the activities of some extremist elements who have announced plans to create a security situation around the Indian Mission in Dhaka," it said.&nbsp;
The MEA said New Delhi is in favour of peace and stability in Bangladesh. "India has close and friendly relations with the people of Bangladesh rooted in the liberation struggle, and strengthened through various developmental and people-to-people initiatives," it said.&nbsp;
"We are in favour of peace and stability in Bangladesh and have consistently called for free, fair, inclusive and credible elections, conducted in a peaceful atmosphere," it added.

In a relief to Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and five others, a Delhi court on Tuesday refused to take cognisance of the Enforcement Directorate's money laundering charge against them in the National Herald case, holding that the agency's probe stemmed from a private complaint and not an FIR.
"I want to say that after this judgement Modi and Shah should resign because the court decision is like a slap on their face. They should give resignation as they should not harass people like this," Kharge said at the press conference, which he addressed with party leaders K C Venugopal, Abhishek Singhvi, Jairam Ramesh, and Pawan Khera.
"They should know that if they do such things people will not tolerate it and will not sit quiet, and they will face insult from people," he said.
Kharge said the Congress has been fighting the issue politically by taking out marches since its top leadership was summoned by the probe agencies. "We have been fighting on the streets, in Parliament, outside it, and will continue to do it and teach them a lesson," he said, while welcoming the court verdict and thanking party workers.
He also said that for over past 11 years, there have been more than 50 such key opposition leaders whom the Modi government has made full efforts to intimidate and blackmail by misusing the ED, CBI, and IT. Kharge claimed the National Herald newspaper was started in 1938 and its motto is "Freedom is in Peril, Defend it with All Your Might."
The December 16 court ruling has completely exposed the false allegations, conspiracy, and vengeful intent levelled by the Modi government against the leaders of his party, he said.
Venugopal asserted that the Congress will expose the "vendetta politics" of the Modi government. The entire Congress cadre is agitated and will show its strength all over India against the "misuse of agencies," he said.
"We will expose this vendetta politics on the streets of the country. The entire nation is now agitating. For the past seven years, the Congress party has faced continuous harassment by the ED. Our senior and supreme leadership is being targeted through vendetta politics, and this has agitated every karyakarta.
"We will demonstrate our strength across India. Because this is clearly an example of how ED is systematically misused by the central government to target the opposition leaders," Venugopal said, when asked about the party's further action in the matter.
Singhvi said the law has spoken louder than noise, and termed the National Herald case a story of political vendetta and harassment.
"Today, the law has spoken louder than noise and fiction. They made a money-laundering mansion on the quicksand of an absent, elusive FIR. There is no FIR. Investigative overreach has met judicial oversight. Courts are not theatres for political scripts.
"Events that had happened much before 2014 led to a private complaint by Subramanian Swamy-with a summoning order in 2014. From 2014 to 2021 - seven long years - there are written opinions sought and given by CBI and ED, mentioning that no predicate offence was made out. Obviously, that's why after 2014, they never filed an official complaint," he noted.
Suddenly, he said, a few days before June 30, 2021, "Command comes from the skies - which you can guess where it came from - to register an ECIR." From 2021 to 2025, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, and many others, have been interrogated for almost 90 hours, "only to harass them, and to embarrass them, and to create a climate against them," Singhvi said.
The party leader said that on October 3, 2025, a new FIR came because "they" want to keep the pot boiling.
"Today's order is a reminder that criminal law is not a political press release. You cannot weaponise the PMLA and then plead ignorance of a condition of the law itself. This case has always been long on rhetoric and short on legs.
"This is the first one-trick wonder of its kind in PMLA, where they say there is allegedly money laundering, but not one paisa has moved an inch, nor has one property moved one foot," Singhvi said.
Delivering his order in a case that has been marked by a political slugfest and legal battles for several years, Special Judge Vishal Gogne said the cognisance of the ED's prosecution complaint relating to the offence of money laundering was "impermissible in law."
The ED complaint was based on an investigation into a complaint by a private person, Subramanian Swamy, and not on an FIR of a predicate offence, the judge said.

Gadhvi added that at Sudamda, AAP announced its plan to approach the Chief Minister with 10 demands, which later increased to 11 due to concerns over inadequate compensation for high-tension power lines passing through agricultural fields.
The AAP leader further said that nearly 8,000 villages participated in the 'Kisan Mahapanchayats,' with support letters collected from approximately 80,000 farmers. &ldquo;Solutions to all these issues are possible.&nbsp;
Compensation of ₹50,000 per hectare can be given, and 12 hours of electricity supply per day can be ensured,&rdquo; he stated. Gadhvi noted that the Chief Minister had assured the delegation that the concerns would be addressed.
However, he also warned that if these 11 issues are not resolved by the upcoming budget session, the party will be compelled to take the matter to the streets. Gadhvi added that the campaign is set to expand, with a signature drive planned to involve 20 lakh farmers, and that AAP legislators will continue to raise these issues in the Legislative Assembly.&nbsp;
&ldquo;As the opposition, we have brought farmers&rsquo; issues onto a common platform, and if there is no resolution, we will fight for the rights of farmers, farm labourers and sharecroppers,&rdquo; he said.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday accused the Modi government of creating a "monopoly or duopoly" in every sector and called for putting the reins of India's economy back into the hands of MSMEs.
Gandhi said that during the Winter Session of Parliament, he met a delegation of small and medium ice cream manufacturers, and by listening to their problems, it became clear that the government is determined to destroy small businesses for the benefit of its favoured industrialists.
"Monopoly or duopoly is a curse for India &mdash; and the Modi government has been doing exactly this in every sector, every industry," the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha said in a post in Hindi on his WhatsApp channel.
"During the Jan Sansad (People's Parliament), I met with a delegation of small and medium-sized ice cream manufacturers. Talking to them and listening to their problems made it clear that the government is determined to destroy small businesses for the benefit of its favoured industrialists," Gandhi said.
The customers of these small ice cream manufacturers are the poor and lower middle-class people of India, he said. Gandhi pointed out that there are thousands of such small ice cream manufacturers across the country, providing employment to millions of people.
"The GST is so complex for these small businesses that it becomes difficult for them to bear the burden. This is why a special 'composition scheme' was created for small businesses, but the BJP government deliberately excluded ice cream from this scheme. At the same time, BJP-ruled states and municipal corporations have sharply increased fees," he said.
Faced with this onslaught of high taxes, increasing paperwork, and rising fees, small ice cream manufacturers are collapsing, Gandhi said, adding that today, they are hardly visible even at tourist spots like India Gate.
"This story is being repeated in every sector. Only the Prime Minister's favourite monopolists, who fund the BJP, survive &mdash; and in return, they get a complete monopoly over the market," he alleged.
"We must break this vicious cycle and put the strong reins of India's economy back into the hands of MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), so that young people get jobs, the public gets affordable and quality options, and small businesses can become equal partners in the country's progress," Gandhi said.
In the video posted on Gandhi's channel, he said the problems being faced by small ice cream manufacturers are the same as every small and medium business in India is facing.
"If you want to create jobs for the people, small and medium businesses are the place where it is going to be done. What specifically Mr Narendra Modi does is to help monopolies crush these people," Gandhi alleged.
"When you hand monopoly power to somebody, you basically destroy the market. The monopolist can do whatever he wants, and there is no control over the manufacturers," he said.
Gandhi said he feels it is important to give preference to small and medium industries, and they are looked after because they have a space in the economy.
"There is a reason why Mr Narendra Modi is ensuring that monopolies are built. It is because that is the easiest way for him to find the BJP &mdash; these poor fellows, they don't have access to him, they don't have access to his offices, so they can't basically finance the BJP," he said.
Gandhi alleged that the BJP is creating monopolies everywhere, and while the largest ones are Adani and Ambani, in every sector, they have done so.
"This is dangerous for the country, it weakens the structure of the country, and it ensures a large number of Indian youngsters are unemployed," Gandhi said.

The duo was initially taken to a Primary Health Centre at Siolim in North Goa for medical examination. They were later taken to the District Hospital at Mapusa in North Goa. A convoy of six police jeeps accompanied them from the airport to the medical facility. According to eyewitnesses, the two brothers were made to sit in separate vehicles.
They are likely to be taken to the Anjuna police station for questioning. The accused will also be produced before a court in Mapusa town for their regular remand, an official said. After the fire tragedy, the Anjuna police had registered a case against the Luthra brothers on various charges, including culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
The Luthra brothers were arrested on Tuesday as soon as they landed in Delhi after being deported from Thailand. A court there allowed the Goa Police their two-day transit remand.
The duo had fled to Phuket (Thailand) early on December 7, hours after the fire at their nightclub, prompting the authorities to issue an Interpol Blue Corner Notice and cancel their passports. They were detained by Thai authorities at Phuket on December 11 following a request from the Indian government, which later coordinated with officials in Thailand to deport them under legal treaties between the two nations.
Five managers and staff members have already been arrested by the Goa Police in connection with the fire.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday transferred the RG Kar Medical College trainee doctor rape and murder case to the Calcutta High Court to monitor the implementation of its orders.
A bench of Justices M M Sundresh and Satish Chandra Sharma directed that the case papers be sent to the high court. The apex court, which took suo motu cognisance of the case in 2024, also said that a copy of the status report should be given to the parents of the victim.
Senior advocate Karuna Nundy, representing the association of junior and senior doctors, submitted that the top court had constituted a National Task Force after recognising the need to evolve a national consensus. "I am representing the doctors of West Bengal. NTF was constituted to formulate effective recommendations to remedy the issues pertaining to safety and well being of medical professionals. Only one hearing is required to wrap this matter," she said.
The apex court said the matter can be looked into by a constitutional court in West Bengal. "We deem it appropriate to send the proceedings to the division bench of the Calcutta High Court with a request to the chief justice to place the matter before an appropriate bench," the bench said.
The body of the postgraduate trainee doctor was found in the hospital's seminar room on August 9 last year. Kolkata police arrested Sanjay Roy, a civic volunteer, the next day. On January 20, a Kolkata trial court awarded Roy "life term imprisonment till death" in the case.
The heinous crime triggered nationwide outrage and prolonged protests in West Bengal. The apex court, even after the primary conviction, is monitoring multiple ancillary issues, including regularising the unauthorised absence of doctors.
In November last year, the NTF in its report &mdash; part of the Central government's affidavit &mdash; said a separate central law to deal with offences against healthcare professionals was not required. The panel said state laws had adequate provisions to address minor offences besides serious ones under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
In a slew of recommendations, the NTF said 24 states had enacted laws to address violence against healthcare professionals while defining the terms "health care institutions" and "medical professionals".
Initially investigated by the Kolkata police, the case was transferred to the CBI on August 13 after the Calcutta High Court expressed dissatisfaction over the former's investigation. The top court subsequently assumed oversight of the matter on August 19, 2024.

Sajid Akram, one of the suspects in the recent shooting at Bondi beach in Australia that left 15 people dead, is originally from Hyderabad, the Telangana Police said on Tuesday.
The BJP leader urged the Telangana police to inquire into the circumstances under which Akram left India and also with whom he maintained contacts after moving to Australia.
&ldquo;The Hyderabad connection with the terror act (in Australia), though it is a matter of insult for us, but also a serious national security concern. Telangana police should now inquire and also go deep into the circumstances and the conditions in which they (Akram) left India,&rdquo; Rao told PTI.
Expressing concern that the incident "reflects a dangerous trend" that risks tarnishing the image of the country and Hyderabad, he said in order to know the family history of the accused, perhaps a police inquiry may also be required.
&ldquo;Unfortunately, the people who are involved in it are from India and that too from Hyderabad. And I feel that Hyderabad, though they moved out of Hyderabad for 27 years, still has many sleeper cells for ISI and ISIS also,&rdquo; he added.
Sajid Akram (50) is originally from Hyderabad, India. He completed his B.Com degree in Hyderabad and migrated to Australia in search of employment, approximately 27 years ago, in November 1998, Telangana police had said.
Akram, who was shot dead, carried an Indian passport as on date.
The shooting was &ldquo;a terrorist attack inspired by Islamic State,&rdquo; Australia's federal police commissioner Krissy Barrett said Tuesday.

According to AAP, the organisational restructuring is aimed at reaching a wider section of the public and strengthening its internal structure before the polls.
The appointments have been made under the leadership of AAP State In-charge Gopal Rai, State President Isudan Gadhvi, and State Organisation General Secretary Manoj Sorathiya. Ward In-charges and Co In-charges have been appointed in municipal corporations including Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, Nadiad, Surendranagar, Jamnagar, Navsari and Vapi.
In Bhuj, the party has named office-bearers for the posts of City President and City Secretary, along with Taluka General Secretary of the Minority Wing and Taluka Kisan Cell President. Appointments have also been made in Kutch district&rsquo;s Lakhpat taluka for Taluka General Secretary and Taluka Secretary, while a Women&rsquo;s Wing Taluka General Secretary has been appointed in Nakhatrana taluka.

According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the sharp deterioration followed a similar trend a day earlier, when air quality first slipped into the &lsquo;severe&rsquo; category before worsening further. In response to the alarming situation, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) imposed GRAP IV&mdash;the strictest set of anti-pollution measures&mdash;across Delhi.
Under the current curbs, construction activities have been suspended. To address the impact on livelihoods, the Delhi government announced a compensation of ₹10,000 for registered construction workers who are unable to work due to the ban.
Dense smog blanketed the city from Saturday through Monday, leading to reduced visibility, a spate of road accidents, vehicle pile-ups, and widespread flight cancellations and delays. With visibility dropping sharply, Delhi airport and airlines issued multiple advisories to passengers. After three days of hazardous conditions, the city saw marginal improvement on Tuesday as stronger winds and thinning fog helped push air quality into the &lsquo;very poor&rsquo; category. This trend continued into Wednesday morning, with the AQI dropping further to 329.
GRAP IV entails a five-point action plan enforced across the entire National Capital Region, including Noida, Gurugram and Faridabad. As part of these measures, the Delhi government has barred the entry of non-Delhi vehicles that do not meet BS-VI emission standards. Additionally, vehicles without valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificates have been denied fuel at petrol pumps.
Meanwhile, Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa issued what he described as a half-apology, stating that no government can eliminate pollution in the capital within nine to 10 months.

Dense fog enveloped the city and surrounding areas, especially near water bodies, during the early morning hours.
In south Kashmir, Qazigund registered a low of minus 3 degrees Celsius, while Kokernag recorded minus 0.1 degrees Celsius.
Kupwara in north Kashmir saw temperatures drop to minus 2.2 degrees Celsius.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) registered a decisive victory in the Punjab District Panchayat elections, securing a majority of seats.&nbsp;
Reacting to the results, AAP&rsquo;s Gujarat State In-charge Gopal Rai said the outcome reflected growing public support for the party&rsquo;s governance model in Punjab, following its earlier success in Delhi.
In a statement, Gopal Rai described the party&rsquo;s performance in the district panchayat polls as a significant milestone. He said the results indicated that AAP&rsquo;s approach to governance has resonated with voters in Punjab.
Rai cited measures implemented after the party formed the government in the state, including the waiver of electricity bills, improvements in school infrastructure, and the construction of hospitals.

He also referred to the Punjab government&rsquo;s decision to provide compensation of ₹50,000 per hectare to farmers in cases of crop damage, stating that the amount was transferred directly to farmers&rsquo; bank accounts within one month. According to Rai, road and infrastructure development in Punjab has also seen visible improvements since AAP assumed office.
Commenting on upcoming local body elections in Gujarat, Rai expressed confidence that similar political momentum could emerge in the state. Elections are scheduled in the coming months for municipal corporations, municipalities, district panchayats and taluka panchayats in Gujarat.
He said that the party hopes the model followed in Punjab will influence voters in Gujarat as well, and added that AAP aims to build public support ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections.

AAP MLA Chaitar Vasava visited Padaliya village in Gujarat&rsquo;s Banaskantha district and alleged excessive use of force by forest officials and police against tribal residents, demanding action and withdrawal of cases.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Chaitar Vasava on Wednesday visited Padaliya village in Gujarat&rsquo;s Banaskantha district to verify facts related to an incident involving forest officials, police personnel and members of the tribal community. He met local residents and affected families before addressing the media.
Speaking to reporters, Vasava said he had come to ascertain details of the incident that took place on the 13th, during which, according to him, forest officials and police carried out actions without prior notice. He alleged that a woman&rsquo;s house was demolished despite her having young children and claimed that around 10 am, a convoy arrived and filled in a well that villagers had been using as a drinking water source.
Vasava further stated that JCB machines dug pits and carried out plantation work on agricultural land where crops were standing. He said villagers questioned why permission from the Gram Sabha was not obtained despite the area falling under Schedule 5, and why no advance notice was issued.&nbsp;
According to him, several villagers were detained on the instructions of senior police officials, and when residents sought their release, police resorted to a lathi-charge.
He claimed that as a result, 32 to 35 people were seriously injured. Vasava also questioned who authorised the firing of 27 tear gas shells and more than 50 rounds. He said that following what he described as excessive force, villagers resorted to stone-pelting in self-defence, after which the situation turned violent. Vasava alleged that the incident involved senior government officers and ministers, and was not limited to lower-level officials.
The AAP MLA further alleged that only a one-sided FIR was registered, naming 27 individuals and mentioning an unnamed mob of 500 people. He demanded that FIRs also be filed against senior police officials and that cases registered against tribal residents be withdrawn.
Refuting claims made by the Superintendent of Police to the media that tribals attacked police with spears and bows, Vasava said no such weapons were in their possession. He stated that tribal communities believe in dialogue and the Constitution, and added that despite discussions lasting three hours, no resolution was reached, culminating in the lathi-charge.
Vasava said the affected families have been living in the area for generations and have filed claims under the Forest Rights Act, 2006, which, he said, should be approved and land titles issued. He alleged that the violence occurred at the behest of the BJP government&rsquo;s forest minister, with police acting on instructions from industrialists.
He warned that if the demands are not addressed and tribal residents continue to face harassment, people from Ambaji to Umargam would unite and march to government offices, including towards Gandhinagar. Vasava concluded by stating that if justice is not delivered, the Aam Aadmi Party will approach the Human Rights Commission, the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes, and, if necessary, the United Nations court.

The BJP on Wednesday accused the Congress of running misleading propaganda over the trial court's decision in the National Herald case and said the court refused to take cognisance of the complaint but did not set aside the case.
The case is still pending trial in the Delhi High Court, and the trial court in its order on Tuesday said that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) can continue its investigation, BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia asserted.
"The court yesterday (Tuesday) said that since it is a private complaint and no FIR has been lodged, it will not take cognisance of it. It's a technical matter. The court also said that ED can continue its investigation further. The court did not set it aside," Bhatia told a press conference at the BJP headquarters in Delhi.

The BJP spokesperson also lashed out at the Congress over its leader Pawan Khera accusing the "gangs of Gandhinagar" of misusing central probe agencies, and demanded an apology from him and the opposition party president Mallikarjun Kharge for such remarks.
"Every Indian, especially those in Gandhinagar, is pained by his remarks. What kind of language is this? If we were to respond in their language, the people of India call them 'dacoits of Italy'. These people come to plunder India. Without becoming a citizen, they try to cast a vote and insult Gandhinagar's honest, hardworking and patriotic people," Bhatia said.
Hitting out at the government on Tuesday, Khera said that the trial court order exposed how the "gangs of Gandhinagar" are misusing the central ED, CBI, Income Tax department and Election Commission like a "private army."
"I won't use the word government. I won't use the word prime minister. I won't say home minister. Pardon me, I will say gangs of Gandhinagar," the Congress head of the media and publicity department had told the reporters.
Bhatia also dismissed the Congress's allegation of "political vendetta" and said the National Herald case against the Gandhis was born out of a private complaint, and neither the High Court nor the Supreme Court quashed the proceedings in the matter when Sonia and Rahul Gandhi approached the courts seeking relief.
The BJP spokesperson alleged that the Gandhi family is the "most corrupt family" in politics across the world and said, "They are out on bail but still accused in the case."
Bhatia said that if anybody feels that an investigation agency is acting contrary to the law and there is a case of political vendetta, they are free to move the High Court or the Supreme Court.
He said that 14 parties had earlier moved the Supreme Court alleging that central agencies were acting contrary to the law, however, the petition was dismissed by the top court.
But the Congress hailing the trial court's order shows its "double standards," he charged.
"Today they are appreciating the judiciary just like they felt about the Election Commission when the poll results in Telangana, Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh came in their favour. When the poll results did not come in their favour in Haryana, Maharashtra and Delhi, the Election Commission became bad for them," Bhatia said.
Such double standards show the Congress has become "hollow from inside", he said.
"Since the trial in the National Herald case is yet to be over, I hope the Congress and its leaders will express similar faith in the judiciary when accused persons in the case are sentenced to seven years of imprisonment, which is possible," Bhatia added.

Gaurav and Saurabh Luthra, co-owners of the &lsquo;Birch by Romeo Lane&rsquo; nightclub, were taken to Anjuna police station after their medical examination at the District Hospital in North Goa on Wednesday. The health check-up went on for more than an hour.
The siblings were brought to Goa from Delhi earlier in the day after being deported from Thailand in connection with the December 6 fire incident that killed 25 persons. They will be interrogated by the Goa Police in connection with the devastating fire at the nightclub in Arpora, North Goa, an official said.
A team of the Goa Police, along with the Luthra brothers, landed at the Manohar International Airport, Mopa, in North Goa at 10.45 am. The duo was initially taken to a Primary Health Centre at Siolim in North Goa for medical examination. They were later taken to the District Hospital at Mapusa in North Goa.
After their medical check-up, which took over an hour, the Luthra brothers were taken to the Anjuna police station, about 10 km from there. A convoy of six police jeeps accompanied them from the airport to the medical facility. According to eyewitnesses, the two brothers were made to sit in separate vehicles.
The accused will also be produced before a court in Mapusa town for their regular remand, an official said. After the fire tragedy, the Anjuna police had registered a case against the Luthra brothers on various charges, including culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
The Luthra brothers were arrested on Tuesday as soon as they landed in Delhi after being deported from Thailand. A court there allowed the Goa Police their two-day transit remand.
The duo had fled to Phuket in Thailand early on December 7, hours after the fire at their nightclub, prompting the authorities to issue an Interpol Blue Corner Notice and cancel their passports. They were detained by Thai authorities at Phuket on December 11 following a request from the Indian government, which later coordinated with officials in Thailand to deport them under legal treaties between the two nations.
Five managers and staff members have already been arrested by the Goa Police in connection with the fire.

As many as 10 private schools in Ahmedabad received an email on Wednesday threatening bomb blasts, which later turned out to be a hoax as nothing suspicious was found during searches, police said.&nbsp;
As a precautionary measure, these schools declared a holiday for the afternoon shift as the morning shift was already over when they received the emails, having a common text, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 1, Harshad Patel said.&nbsp;
After being alerted, police, along with the bomb detection and disposal squad, dog squad and anti-sabotage teams, reached the schools and conducted a thorough search, Patel told reporters.&nbsp;
"In the email sent to the schools, it was claimed that bomb blasts will be carried out in these establishments during the afternoon. As a precautionary measure, these schools declared a holiday for the afternoon shift as the morning shift was already over," he said.&nbsp;
"Our teams reached the schools and conducted a thorough search. However, nothing suspicious was found. Cybercrime teams are now investigating the source of these emails and who was behind them," Patel said.&nbsp;
The exact contents of these emails are not disclosed because the matter is under investigation, he said.&nbsp;
