Google VP Donates Rs 1 Crore to SV Pranadana Trust, Tirupati

Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, Jun 26 (PTI) — In a noteworthy act of philanthropy, Google Vice President Thota Chandrasekhar has contributed Rs 1 crore to the SV Pranadana Trust affiliated with the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). This generous donation was formally presented via cheque to TTD Chairman B R Naidu in Tirumala. The contribution ceremony took place on Thursday, as confirmed by a statement released by the temple authorities. The gesture by Chandrasekhar received warm appreciation from the TTD officials during a gathering at the Chairman's office in the temple town. The TTD is renowned as the custodian of the Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirupati, known as the wealthiest Hindu shrine globally.
