It was not all work and no play for the G20 delegates and world leaders who came to India for the G20 summit. They also visited popular tourist attractions in India’s capital city and signed visitor books. Qutab Minar was one of the popular choices.

“Thank you so much for this visit and your efforts to preserve this part of your history,” France’s Emmanuel Macron wrote in Qutab Minar’s visitor book, as per Indian Express.

Macron’s diplomatic advisor also joined him for the visit, saying “he is honoured that France is such a close friend of India.”

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen’s husband also visited Qutab Minar, a UNESCO world heritage site. “What a great place of history and art! Thank you so much for this experience,” he wrote in the visitor’s book.

Turkish First Lady Emine Erdogan also visited the site and wrote that “everything was so nice” during her visit. Chinese Finance Minister Liu Kun wrote he was “impressed by the rich history” of the Qutab Minar.
