Birthday of Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde celebrated in New York's Times Square, internet users react

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde turned 60 on February 9. On his birthday, his pictures were displayed at the famous Times Square in New York to mark the leader's birthday. A video of the slideshow of pictures that were seen in Times Square are now doing rounds on the internet.

As social media users came across this video, they reacted to this by saying, 'Ohh. Local for Global!!'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended wishes to Maharashtra CM Shinde and said, "Birthday wishes to the dynamic and industrious Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Eknath Shinde Ji. He has made a mark for his grassroots level connect and hardworking nature. He is working to take the state to new heights. Praying for his long and healthy life."

CM Shinde also celebrated his birthday in Nashik.
