Andhra Pradesh parties use condoms in political campaigns, here's how

Besides protection, condoms have found a new role in Andhra Pradesh, and that too a political one.

The state's ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), and leading opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP), are using condoms branded with party symbols in political campaigns.

Political leaders were also seen conducting door-to-door campaigns for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, during which, they were seen distributing condom packets with their party logos on it.

However, both parties are slamming each other for resorting to condoms in politics.

YSRCP shared a post on X, asking how low will the TDP stoop? "Will it stop with condoms or even start distributing Viagra to the public," Jagan Mohan Reddy's party further asked.

The TDP responded with a picture of a similar condom packet with the YSRCP logo, asking if this was the preparedness 'siddam' the party was talking about.
