Shilpa Shinde slams ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10’ judges Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit and Nora Fatehi

‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’, the dance reality show, is one of the most widely-watched shows on television. Actor Shilpa Shinde, who was one of the most powerful contestants in the ongoing 10th season of the show, got eliminated a few days ago. Recently, she took to Instagram and slammed the show judges - Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit Nene, and Nora Fatehi for their comments on the performances.

Sharing a video, she called out the judge panel and took a stand for participants Nia Sharma and Rubina Dilayak. Shilpa tagged Karan, Madhuri, Nora and other members from the show and wrote, ‘It’s my humble request to all the judges of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.’

In the clip, Shilpa talked about TV star Nia Sharma’s performance, and the points and comments she received from the judges. Taking a jibe at KJo, she asked if the filmmaker was going to offer Nia a Dharma Productions film, based on how she performed that day. She further asked if Karan was going to hand the contestants an Oscar or National Award for their performance.

She elaborated how celebrity contestants go great lengths to give a flawless act, but judges still criticise their dance. She mentioned that all of them put all their heart and soul into the 3-minute dance. She said instead of being seen as an entertainment show, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ is being treated as competition show.

She concluded her video by requesting the judging panel with joined hands to respect the performers and refrain from pointing out unnecessary mistakes.

Shilpa’s brave move is being praised by the fans. However, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ judges are yet to react to her comments.
