Munawar Faruqui ties the knot for the second time; know all about his intimate wedding

Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui reportedly tied the knot for the second time. As per a Time Now report, the actor got married to Mehzabeen Coatwala earlier this month. The comedian reportedly had a secret wedding with only his close friends and family in attendance.

Munawar wanted to keep it low-key

A source told the publication, "Yes, Munawar is now married. Usne shaadi kar li hai. Woh yeh sab under wraps rakhna chahta hai tabhi koi khass pictures bhi nahi milega apko (He got married. He wants to keep it under wraps; hence, you would not find any pictures of the two)."

"Only the couple's near and dear ones were present for the ceremony. It was an extremely close-knit function," added the source. Mehzabeen Coatwala is a makeup artist by profession.

The reports of Munawar's second marriage first surfaced after a fan page shared a post revealing that the BB17 winner married nearly two weeks ago. The new couple reportedly held their wedding reception at Mumbai's ITC Grand Maratha on Sunday, the report added. A viral picture of a wedding invitation has also been surfacing on the internet and is claimed to be Munawar's. However, neither Faruqui nor Mehzabeen has shared the update on their social media accounts.

Hina Khan hinted at Munawar's marriage?

If reports are to be believed, Munawar's close friend Hina Khan was also a part of his intimate wedding celebrations. Just a few days ago, Hina Khan shared a picture of herself. She added the song Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai as the background music.

About Munawar's first marriage

This is Munawar’s second marriage. The internet sensation was previously married and also shares a son with his ex-wife. While Munawar prefers to keep his personal life under the wraps, during his time in the Bigg Boss 17 house, the stand-up comedian got emotional while talking about his son. He revealed, “My ex-wife is married now, and I have custody of my son.”
