KBC 13 Shaandaar Shukravaar: Genelia D'Souza and Ritesh Deshmukh get teary-eyed, know why

On 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 13's 'Shaandaar Shukravaar' episode this weekend, one of Bollywood's most loved couple - Genelia D'Souza and Ritesh Deshmukh are guests, where the duo will be playing to raise funds for children battling cancer.

In a promo released by the makers of the show, fans got a glimpse of the show, where Genelia and Ritesh got emotional as a video of kids at a cancer treatment centre played.

"Bachche pe kya beeti hai yeh hum kabhi samajh bhi nahi payenge (We will never be able to understand what the kids have gone through),” a teary-eyed Riteish said.

But the show had its quirky moments too. In another promo from the same episode, Ritesh went down on one knee and quoted a hit dialogue from Big B's 'Shahenshah' for his lady love, but with his own twist.

“Rishte mein toh hum tumhare pati lagte hai, lekin naam hai Genelia sa naura (I am your husband, but my name is Genelia’s husband), ” said Riteish.

Ritesh and Genelia met on the sets of 2003 film 'Tujhe Meri Kasam' and after dating each others for a few years, they tied the knot in 2012. 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 13's 'Shaandaar Shukravaar' will air on October 8 on Sony Entertainment Television.
