Elvish Yadav arrested in snake venom case, sent to 14-day judicial custody

YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav has been arrested in the alleged use of snake venom at rave parties case. Yadav was called for questioning by the Noida police today, after which he was arrested. Following this, he was sent to 14-day judicial custody.

Elvish Yadav was arrested by Noida police on Sunday for alleged involvement in a snake venom case, reported ANI. Earlier today, the BB OTT 2 winner was interrogated about the allegations of using snake venom at rave parties. Following the questioning, he was arrested along with five others and sent to 14-day judicial custody.

He has been charged under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120A (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code for allegedly supplying the poisonous substance at a party in Noida Sector 59 last year.

Elvish Yadav snake venom case

A case was filed against Elvish Yadav in November 2023 following a raid at a rave party during which police found snake venom used for intoxication by the guests. As per the reports, Yadav was not only present in the party, but was also accused of supplying the snake venom.

In his defence, the YouTuber has denied all the allegations and even threatened to file defamation charges in the case.
