'Bigg Boss 17': Munawar Faruqui beats Abhishek Kumar to lift trophy; wins grand cash prize of Rs 50 lakh

Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui has been announced as the winner of Bigg Boss 17. Besides the trophy, Munawar will take home the grand cash prize of Rupees 50 lakhs and a swanky new car. The comedian was overwhelmed with joy when his name was announced as the winner of the Salman Khan-hosted reality show.

His family had also joined him to show their support and were radiating with pride.

Abhishek Kumar was named the runner-up of the show. The other finalists of ‘Bigg Boss 17’ were Ankita Lokhande, Mannara Chopra, and Arun Mahashetty.

Ayesha went on to claim that Munawar had cheated on his then-wife with Nazila. After these allegations were made by Ayesha, numerous prominent figures from the entertainment industry took to social media to express their support for the comedian.

Several former Bigg Boss contestants, including Karan Kundrra and Aly Goni, encouraged Munawar to remain resilient. Despite facing these challenges, Munawar Faruqui managed to capture the hearts of Bigg Boss fans and ultimately emerged as the victor of the popular reality show.
