'The Archies' first song 'Sunoh' is out: Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor in Riverdale

Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’ first song ‘Sunoh’ has been unveiled. The Netflix series marks the debut of star kids Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Khushi Kapoor.

About the song
The makers dropped the upbeat song on October 19. The song shows the daily lives of cast in the town of ‘Riverdale’. Agastya is seen lip-syncing with other boys. Suhana is seen moving around in skates while Khushi is riding a bicycle around the Riverdale town. The over-two minutes song shows major characters in the series. Composed by Ankur Tewari and The Islanders, the song lyrics are written by Javed Akhtar and Dot.

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan had previously spoken about her first day on the set of The Archies and shared with India Today, “From the number of people on set to the number of lights on set and the hair and the make up and the chaos, I feel like in the middle of it, I just felt extremely significant.” She added that everyone on the set was doing everything to “facilitate Zoya’s vision and knowing that on my first day and realising that, I felt extremely nervous and at the same time, incredibly responsible.”

The Archies is directed by Zoya Akhtar and written by Zoya, Reema Kagti, and Ayesha Devitre Dhillon. It also stars Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Aditi 'Dot' Saigal and Yuvraj Menda in prominent roles and is set to release on December 7, 2023.
