Suhana Khan will be a central character in Zoya Akhtar's next project for Netflix

Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan is all set to make her on-screen debut.

If reports are to be believed, Zoya Akhtar will introduce Suhana in her upcoming project, for an OTT platform.

According to a report in Pinkvilla.com, Zoya Akhtar has found the central character of her next project in Suhana.

The report adds that Zoya is working on the Indian adaptation of the cult comic book, Archie for Netflix, in which Suhana will star.

The report citing a source said, the show will be a teenage story and Zoya has been on the lookout to get multiple young actors on board to play a bunch of friends.

The project is in its nascent stages at the moment, and the final paperwork will be done once Suhana and her father, Shah Rukh Khan give a green signal.

Netflix has already adapted Archie Comics for its 2017 show Riverdale, which is in its 5th season currently.

Riverdale has given the happy chirpy teen drama a dark twist. On the show, Archie, Betty, Jughead and Veronica are teenagers in a town that is rife with sinister happenings and blood-thirsty criminals.

Suhana is currently a student at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. She returned to the United States in January after spending several months with her family in Mumbai, during the lockdown.

Suhana has said publicly that she wants to be an actor, but dad Shah Rukh wants her to complete her education first, before she sets foot in showbiz.
