First look poster and teaser for Rishab Shetty's much-anticipated film 'Kantara - Chapter 1', also called 'Kantara 2', have been revealed.

The teaser offers a peek into actor-director Rishab Shetty’s entirely new persona, inviting viewers into the Director's visionary realm. With echoes of the familiar roar from the first installment, it sets the stage for a legendary genesis. The teaser builds suspense and intrigue, crafting an immersive atmosphere.

Sharing the teaser and first look, the makers wrote, ‘Step into the land of the divine. Presenting #KantaraChapter1 First Look & #Kantara1Teaser in 7 languages.’

The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali and English.

The shoot of 'Kantara Chapter 1’ commences on November 27. A grand and massive set is being constructed for the film, where Rishab Shetty, producer Vijay Kiragandur, and the other cast and crew will be present.

The makers will kick off the principal photography for the film in December, and the rest of the cast will be announced in due time.

The film is narrated around a human and nature conflict where Shiva is the rebel who works against nature. It is set and shot in Keradi in coastal Karnataka which involves the cultures of Kambla and Bhootha Kola.

‘Kantara’, which was released in theatres on September 30, received a good response from the audience for its storyline and visuals.

Set in the fictional village of Dakshina Kannada, the movie follows the character of Shetty, who plays a Kambala champion, who has a faceoff with an upright Forest Range officer.
