An ambitious biopic is set to be made on India&rsquo;s first professional wrestler, Kavita Devi. Producer Pretty Aggarwal has acquired the rights and she will be co-producing the film on a grand scale with Zeeshan Ahmad, according to ETimes report.
The biopic will show how Kavita&rsquo;s brother Sanjay Dalal helped shape her career and made her into a tough woman.
Interestingly, Kavita Devi shares a special bond with Great Khali and she trained for WWE under him. Previously, she wrestled on the independent circuit under the name of Kavita and Hard KD.
Producer Pretty Aggarwal has talked about her decision to produce the biopic in an interview with ETimes. She said, &lsquo;Her whole life has been very inspiring. In every stage of her life she showed a lot of courage to fight all the odds and proved her ability to win.&rsquo;

Tamil singer Chinmayi Sripaada has urged Tamil Nadu CM M K Stalin to take action against lyricist Vairamuthu, who has been named by several women during the MeToo movement in India. In her tweet, Chinmayi claimed that DMK party members and people close to Stalin tried to silence her on the matter.
Chinmayi&rsquo;s statement read, &lsquo;Respected Honble CM, Sir, It is amazing you show support to the cause of justice to sexual harassment survivors every time a case comes to notice across India. When political leaders speak there is hope for change. However there are no systems in place yet &ndash; No ICC or POCSO in many industries especially in the Film Industry. 17+ women have named your friend/supporter Mr Vairamuthu who continues to enjoy your proximity which he uses to silence women who speak up even more. Your party continues to platform him, as have other politicians in Tamilnadu.&rsquo;
She added, &lsquo;With almost 5 years of facing a work ban in the Tamil Film Industry and fighting a case with Honble City Civil Court there seems to be no end in sight. I have the strength to fight this considering it may even take another 20 years to get justice in this Country when we lack connections or clout. I filed a complaint with the NCW way back in 2018-2019 because that was the only route available for many of us, and handed a handwritten complaint to police officers that came home to investigate. I have enough circumstantial evidence including phone call records where Vairamuthu arranged a call to arrive at a &lsquo;compromise&rsquo;. His son Madhan Karky was also informed via text to which he called, responded and agreed he and his family were already aware of his father&rsquo;s behaviour several years ago. The rules cannot be different for Vairamuthu and Brij Bhushan.&rsquo;
The singer also compared the issue with the ongoing protests of wrestlers in Delhi.
She further asked him to do the needful so that across Tamil Nadu workplaces can be safer. &lsquo;I speak as someone who has been ostracised by my industry because people are too scared to speak against the Poet because of his political connections. Please make sure my Industry has ICCs and POCSO Units (since Children are employed in Mass Media and are safe from Child Sexual abuse) in all the Unions &ndash; many women AND men continue to face sexual harassment in TV and Film,&rsquo; she concluded her post.
Chinmayi has accused Vairamuthi of sexual harassment.

A major fire broke out on the sets of Pawan Kalyan&rsquo;s forthcoming film &lsquo;Hari Hara Veera Mallu&rsquo; in Beerampet, Dundigul, on May 28. Fortunately, no one was present on the sets.
A case has reportedly been filed by Dundigul police and the investigation is underway. The mishap has led to a huge loss for AM Ratnam&rsquo;s Mega Surya Production and this will also delay the shoot of the film as a new set will have to be built.
The team is yet to release an official statement about the incident.
&lsquo;Hari Hara Veera Mallu&rsquo;, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi of &lsquo;Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi&rsquo; fame also stars Niddhi Agarwal and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles. The movie will be released in multiple languages across India.
Besides &lsquo;Hari Hara Veera Mallu&rsquo;, Pawan Kalyan is also shooting for his other film, &lsquo;Bro&rsquo;, which is a Telugu remake of &lsquo;Vinodhaya Sitham&rsquo;. The movie, directed by Samuthirakani, also has Sai Dharam Tej in the lead role.
Pawan Kalyan is expected to wrap up his film commitments soon ahead of the Andhra Pradesh&rsquo;s Assembly Elections.

Dogstar is also working on a new album. According to a Deadline report, the band was formed back in 1991 after Keanu Reeves and Robert Mailhouse met at a supermarket and became friends. Reeves was the bass guitarist and the backup vocalist, while Mailhouse was at the drums and percussion.
Keanu Reeves recently starred in &lsquo;John Wick 4&rsquo;. Lionsgate has confirmed that a fifth installment of the action film with Reeves as the titular assassin was in early development.
