Ileana D'Cruz banned from Kollywood? Tamil Film Producers Council reacts

Ileana D'Cruz, who impressed everyone with her incredible performance in ‘Barfi’, ‘Pokhiri’ and Baadshaho’, was said to have been banned from the Tamil film industry. According to reports, she had taken advance payment for a Tamil film but never shot for it. The film producer, who is said to have suffered a huge loss, reportedly filed a complaint with the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC). Reacting to the complaint, Tamil film producers had decided not to sign her on for any Tamil movies, a report in Siasat.com stated.

Now, according to IndiaToday.in, Tamil Film Producers Council called these reports false. They said that they had put no such ban on Ileana D’Cruz.

For the unversed, Ileana D’Cruz no longer works in Tamil or Telugu cinema.

On the work front, she was last seen in the critically acclaimed Nanban’ with Thalapathy Vijay in 2012.
