‘Salaar’ teaser: Prabhas starrer promises to be action-packed; Tinnu Anand steals the spotlight

The teaser of Prabhas’ much-anticipated action film ‘Salaar Part 1- Ceasefire’ was released in the early hours of July 6. It opens with Tinnu Anand promising not to create confusion and talk in ‘simple English’ as he is surrounded by several armed men.

The teaser then shares glimpses of Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in their intense avatars.

Prabhas is seen in the middle of a fight scene with a dagger-shaped sword and shows his blood-smeared punch to the camera. It is followed by a glimpse of Prithviraj, who has a tika on his forehead.

‘Salaar’ is touted as an out-and-out mass action and adventure film. It has been shot in India, Europe, Middle East and Africa. It is said to have been made on a budget of around ₹200 crore.

After ‘Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire’, Prabhas shift his entire focus to completing the last installment.

‘Salaar’ is directed by ‘KGF’ fame director Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur. The film also stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao and Sriya Reddy in pivotal roles.

Hombale Films, which bankrolled the two parts of ‘KGF’ and ‘Kantara’, has produced the film.

‘Salaar’ will release in theatres worldwide on September 28 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
