After Jr NTR, Telugu star Ram Charan has been welcomed by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) to join the Actors Branch.

The Academy introduced the new members on their official social media page, which also featured Lashana Lynch, Vicky Krieps, Louis Koo Tin-Lok, Keke Palmer, Chang Chen, Sakura Ando and Robert Davi.

The recognition given to Ram Charan comes after the success of the film ‘RRR’. The film body also praised the talent and dedication of the actors mentioned in the list.

‘Through their nuanced portrayal and dedication to authenticity, these actors gift us with characters that leave a lasting impression on our hearts and minds. Their mastery of their art form transforms ordinary moments into extraordinary cinematic experiences, enriching our appreciation for the depth and complexity of human emotions (sic)’, read the caption.

Ardent fans of Ram Charan shared their love and support for the actor in the comment section. One fan wrote, ‘Global star, Ram Charan (sic)’. Another user wrote, ‘Hail Ram Charan (sic).’

The Academy has 18 branches across departments ranging from acting to writing to production.

Ram Charan is currently in Tuscany, Italy, to attend the wedding of Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi.

On the film front, he will next be seen in 'Game Changer,' co-starring with Kiara Advani. After the film, Ram will begin shooting for his upcoming untitled film with director ‘Buchi Babu Sana’.
