At a recent event, Kajal said that the South industry is &lsquo;very friendly&rsquo; and she prefers the eco-system they provide in terms of their discipline, values, and ethics, which she feels is lacking in Hindi cinema.
Speaking at the News 18 Rising India Summit 2023, Kajal said, &lsquo;There are a lot of people who want to start their career in Hindi because it is a more nationwide recognised language. Having said that, yes the south is a very friendly industry, it&rsquo;s very accepting, there are fabulous technicians in the south, wonderful directors and phenomenal content that is generated over all four languages- Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.&rsquo;
She added, &lsquo;And of course, Hindi has been our mother tongue. We have grown up watching Hindi movies. It has been accepting and has been very kind to me as well. But I prefer the eco-system, the ethics, the values, the discipline of the south industry, which I feel is lacking in Hindi cinema.&rsquo;
Kajal grew up in Mumbai, but for her, the feeling of home is Hyderabad and Chennai. Kajal made her debut in Telugu films in 2007 with &lsquo;Lakshmi Kalyanam&rsquo;. She then appeared in hits like &lsquo;Magadheera&rsquo;, &lsquo;Arya 2&rsquo;. In Bollywood, she is best known for her work in Rohit Shetty&rsquo;s &lsquo;Singham&rsquo;, alongside Ajay Devgn. She will next be seen in the Tamil film &lsquo;Indian 2&rsquo; with Kamal Haasan.

Now, months after the film&rsquo;s release, director Siddharth Anand has opened up about why he chose the saffron bikini for the song. Speaking at the News18 Rising India summit 2023, he said that he chose the costume &lsquo;randomly&rsquo; and &lsquo;never gave it too much thought.&rsquo;
&lsquo;The colour was looking nice. It was sunny, the grass was greener and the water was blue and the orange colour was looking good. We thought when the audience would watch it they would understand that our intent was not wrong,&rsquo; he said.
The director further said the boycott calls were &lsquo;white noise&rsquo; and they were &lsquo;not scared.&rsquo; Siddharth appreciated how the audience flocked to the theatres when the film was released and proved the whole boycott movement wrong.
&lsquo;And when you are calling for a boycott of a star or a movie, you are not seeing how many people&rsquo;s livelihood is dependent on that particular movie especially if it works. At least three hundred people work on a film every day. And when the shoot gets over so many VFX artists work on the post production. It&rsquo;s very easy to say boycott, that too, without reason,&rsquo; he said. &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; earned over 1000 crore worldwide, with Rs 657.25 crore in the domestic market.

'Bholaa', starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, was released in theatres on March 30, 2023. The film narrates the story of a former prisoner Bholaa who is released from jail after 10 years. As he heads to meet his young daughter, he's arrested mid-way. He then joins forces with a police officer (Tabu) to protect a drug consignment from a gang of criminals. Directed by Ajay himself, the film has put up a decent box office score on Day 1.
Film analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box-office collection on Twitter and wrote, '#Bholaa puts up a decent score on Day 1 [#RamNavmi]&hellip; Healthy footfalls during spot bookings - towards evening shows specifically - compensate for the low turnout in morning + noon shows&hellip; Thu ₹ 11.20 cr. #India biz.'

&lsquo;Bholaa&rsquo; also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, and Vineet Kumar. Amala Paul and Abhishek Bachchan have cameo appearances. The music is by &lsquo;K.G.F&rsquo; composer Ravi Basrur and the cinematography is by Aseem Bajaj. &lsquo;Bholaa&rsquo; is the official remake of Lokesh Kanagraj's Tamil film &lsquo;Kaithi&rsquo;.

Sharing a beautiful picture of herself, she penned a long note that read, &lsquo;We see very few older women in the public eye. It&rsquo;s not something I thought about when I was young, but now that I myself am silver-haired, I feel their absence.&rsquo;

Concluding her note, Zeenat Aman asked her fans to be grateful towards the older women in their lives.

As per reports, the top nominees received an 'Everyone Wins' gift bag worth $126,000 (around ₹1.03 crore).

The 95th Academy Awards were held on March 12 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' dominated the Oscars, winning seven awards.
Those who lost were given extravagant Oscar gift bags as a consolation prize. This year, the acting and directing nominees will receive a 'Everyone Wins' gift bag worth $126,000 (around ₹1.03 crore).
As per a report in Variety, this year&rsquo;s gift bag includes - luxurious skincare products, bath ritual sets, celebrity-founded tequila, Luxury vacations to Italy and Canada, Art Lipo body sculpting, high-tech meditation orb, Flip flops, various luxury food items such as honey, biscuits and more.
These items are reportedly worth crores, and the gift bags are only offered to the top 25 acting and directing nominees. This year, the gift bags will be honoured to Austin Butler, Colin Farrell, Cate Blanchett, Ana de Armas, Michelle Williams, Michelle Yeoh, Judd Hirsch, Angela Bassett, Jamie Lee Curtis, Todd Field, and Steven Spielberg.

Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas is back in Mumbai along with her husband-singer Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie. The family was spotted at the Kalina airport on Friday and they all posed for the paparazzi stationed there. This is Malti Marie&rsquo;s first visit to India.
In the pictures and videos that have surfaced online, Priyanka is seen in a peppy pink crop top with a slit skirt, while Nick chose a cool hoody with a pair of jeans.&nbsp;
The actor also shared her excitement about India&rsquo;s visit on Instagram stories. She shared a picture from the flight and wrote, 'Mumbai meri jaan.'
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot in December 2018 and welcomed their daughter Malti Marie in January 2022.&nbsp;
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra will next be seen in &lsquo;Love Again&rsquo; with Sam Heughan and &lsquo;Citadel&rsquo;. She also has &lsquo;Jee Le Zaraa&rsquo; alongside Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in the pipeline.
