'Liger' trailer: Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer is all 'action, dhamaaka & entertainment'

The trailer of Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer ‘Liger’ has finally been unveiled. The video opens with Ramya Krishnan introducing her son Vijay as a cross breed of Tiger and Lion –Liger. The action-packed trailer highlights Liger’s journey as a boxer and gives us a glimpse of his love life as well. It ends with Mike Tyson stating ‘If you’re a fighter, what am I?’

The trailer has been shared by Vijay Deverakonda on Twitter, captioned: ‘India, We give you. Mass. Action. Entertainment. The LIGER Trailer!’

Vijay Deverakonda stars as the titular MMA fighter boxer. American boxer Mike Tyson has a special cameo in the film, which marks his acting debut in Indian cinema.

The film also stars Ananya Panday, Ronit Roy and Ramya Krishnan in pivotal roles.

‘Liger’, directed and produced by Puri Jagannadh, releases on August 25, 2022. The film is co-produced by Karan Johar and Charmme Kaur.

The trailer launch event of the same is being held in Hyderabad and Mumbai today.
