K-pop idol loses 1 million followers overnight following sex crime case

K-pop idol and former NCT member Taeil is at the receiving end of hate from his own fans after his sexual assault case surfaced in media. The singer is facing the wrath of netizens and fans besides being kicked out from his band. Most of his posts on Instagram are receiving negative comments.

Not only his band members but thousands of fans have unfollowed Taeil on Instagram. Ex-NCT member has lost over 1 million followers on Instagram overnight following the sexual crime allegations. He reportedly had around 6 million followers which dropped to 5 million after reports of his crime were published. His former bandmates even deleted all of their pictures with him.

Heartbroken and shocked fans expressed disappointment and posted pictures of his burnt and torn pictures. Many fan pages of Taeil have shut down their accounts.

The K-pop world has been left shocked since SM Entertainment announced the news of Taeil being removed from the group. The agency said that they have realised the gravity of the situation and decided to take action.
