Jr NTR says he might quit doing films; here's why

Actor Jr NTR, who is currently enjoying the global success of 'RRR', recently attended the pre-release event of Vishwak Sen's film ‘Das ka Dhamki’ in Hyderabad. At the event, the actor's fans questioned him repeatedly about his forthcoming films. He jokingly said that he would quit films if fans keep hounding him for film updates.

'I am not doing any movies. If you ask me repeatedly, I will stop doing movies,' he said.

Apart from Jr NTR’s 30th project by Koratala Siva, no other official announcements have been made so far.

'NTR 30', helmed by Koratala Siva, will be launched on March 23 this year. The action-drama film will star Tarak and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles. The film will be launched with a muhurat ceremony, according to the production company. The release date of the movie is yet to be announced, as per reports.

NTR's production company, NTR Arts, shared a post on Twitter on Saturday, March 18, that read, 'Storm alert #NTR30 Muhurtam on March 23rd, @tarak9999, #JanhviKapoor, #KoratalaSiva, @Nandamurikalyan, @anirudhofficial, @RathnaveluDop, @sreekar_prasad, @sabucyril, @YuvasudhaArts.'
