Janhvi Kapoor hasn’t signed any Tamil film, Boney Kapoor issues statement

Producer Boney Kapoor has put to rest the rumours surrounding his daughter, actor Janhvi Kapoor’s Tamil debut. Taking to Twitter, he clarified that Janhvi hasn’t signed any Tamil film at the moment and requested media to not spread ‘false rumours’.

Boney Kapoor tweeted, ‘Dear media friends. This is to bring to your notice that Janhvi Kapoor has not committed to any Tamil films at the moment, requesting not to spread false rumours.’

Recently, reports had surfaced saying that Janhvi has been approached to star opposite Arya in ‘Paiyaa 2’, which will be directed by N Linguswamy. Rumours are also rife that the ‘Roohi’ actor will be making her Telugu cinema debut opposite actor Jr NTR in Koratala Siva’s upcoming project.

Janhvi was last seen in survival thriller ‘Mili’ (2022), a remake of the Malayalam film ‘Helen’, which was produced by her father Boney Kapoor.

She will be next seen in ‘Dostana 2’. She also has ‘Bawaal’ and ‘Mr And Mrs Mahi’ in the pipeline.
