'Hometown Cha Cha Cha' dances off screen but drama around Kim Seon Ho continues online

Popular K-drama 'Hometown Cha Cha Cha' aired it's finale on Monday, and despite the happy ending for the main leads, there is a pall in the air.

On Sunday night an anonymous confession on the website Nate Pann caused a huge stir. The lengthy accusation started off by clarifying that she, as a victim of physical and mental abuse, including an abortion forced upon her by Actor K.

According to the revelation, the relationship between Actor K and the alleged ex-girlfriend took a wild turn when she got pregnant. While the alleged ex-girlfriend’s doctor suggested she should keep the baby because the abortion would complicate her future pregnancies, Actor K supposedly convinced her to get rid of the baby.

The revelation went on to reveal other character flaws that Actor K has apparently been hiding from the public. The alleged ex-girlfriend insisted that he is actually rude toward his industry sunbae (senior) and hoobae (junior) colleagues behind the scenes.

While it wasn't immediately clear who Actor K was, signs seem to point to 'Cha Cha Cha' hero Kim Seon Ho. Seon Ho's company SALT released a statement saying they are “looking into the online post.”

Kim Seon Ho has since seemingly lost a few endorsement deals as brands like 11Street and Domino’s Pizza have almost immediately removed the actor from their websites and/or social media platforms.

Both leads for Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Kim Seon Ho and Shin Min Ah had both cancelled their post-finale interviews for the drama. Both companies cited “internal circumstances” as a reason for cancelling. Similarly, Lee Sang Yi, who plays the second male lead in the drama, has also announced that he will not be attending the interview.
