Tom Ellis And wife Meaghan Oppenheimer welcome their first child via surrogacy

‘Lucifer’ actor Tom Ellis has become a father again. He took to Instagram in the early hours of November 10 to share the news with his fans with an adorable photograph of his newborn daughter.

‘Our daughter Dolly Ellis-Oppenheimer was born on November 8th and within five hours of being alive, she single-handedly ended the SAG strike. We love her. Huge thank you to our amazing surrogate,’ Tom Ellis wrote in the official announcement post.

In the picture, which has been captured inside the hospital, the baby intertwines her small hands grabbing Tom’s finger while the actor’s wife Meaghan Oppenheimer stands right next to him.

Meaghan Oppenheimer gave fans a sneak peek into how Tom Ellis has already started his dad duties.

About Tom Ellis and Meaghan’s relationship

Tom Ellis tied the knot with writer Meaghan Oppenheimer in 2019 which was attended by many of his co-actors.

‘My new wife Meaghan Oppenheimer was a little unsure about my choice of transport for the honeymoon,’ he wrote introducing his life partner on Instagram.

In the picture, the couple stood on a scenic bridge. Tom looked dapper in a formal suit, while his ladylove was a vision in white. She donned a lacy gown featuring long sleeves and a sheer veil for D-day.

‘Thank you to everyone who made our special day so precious,’ the actor concluded his romantic post.

This was Tom Ellis’ second wedding.

The actor was previously married to actress Tazmin Outhwaite. The former couple called it quits in 2014, eight years after marriage. They share two daughters Marnie and Florence.

The ‘Lucifer’ star started dating Meaghan in 2015. They dated for four years before finally sealing the deal. Dolly is their first child together, but Tom also has another daughter Nora from a previous relationship.
