Mario Lopez Receives Star On Hollywood Walk of Fame On His 51st Birthday | Watch

Mario Lopez now has his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! The actor and TV host celebrated his 51st birthday at the star-unveiling ceremony on October 10 in Hollywood.

Joined by his wife Courtney and their three kids—Gia (14), Dominic (11), and Santino (5)—as well as friends Mark Wahlberg and boxer Oscar De La Hoya, Mario reflected on the honor.

Before unveiling his star, Lopez made a speech and addressed his family, sharing, ‘Today, I happen to be turning 51 years old and I’m still blessed to be doing what I love the most. Only now, what I love most is being a dad.’

Mario Lopez is an American actor, television host, and producer, best known for his role as A.C. Slater on the iconic TV series Saved by the Bell.

Lopez, hailing from Chula Vista, was discovered by a talent agent at age 10 during a dance recital. He made his acting debut on ABC's a.k.a. Pablo in 1984, which lasted just six weeks. However, his iconic role as A.C. Slater on Saved by the Bell (1989–1993) became a cultural phenomenon, followed by the prime-time spinoff Saved by the Bell: The College Years (1993–1994). The show's immense popularity led to a reboot, which ran from 2020 to 2022 on Peacock.

Lopez also portrayed Olympic gold medalist Greg Louganis in the 1997 USA Network film Breaking the Surface: The Greg Louganis Story. Additionally, he made appearances on The Bold and the Beautiful and FX’s Nip/Tuck.
