Actor Nithya Menen hits out at false reports that claimed she was harassed by a Tamil actor. Taking to Instagram, she shared a screenshot of a report and said that it was completely untrue. &lsquo;It&rsquo;s very sad that certain sections of journalism have come down to this. I urge you &ndash; Be Better than this!&rsquo; the actor wrote.
In another post, she wrote, &lsquo;We are all here for such a short period of time. It always surprises me how much wrong we do to each other :) I point this out today because only accountability stops bad behaviour (sic).&rsquo;
A verified Instagram page posted a report which quoted Nithya as saying, &lsquo;I have never faced any problems in Telugu industry but I have faced a lot of problems in Tamil industry. A Tamil hero harassed me while shooting for a film (sic).&rsquo;
Nithya Menen had earlier said that she hasn&rsquo;t faced sexual harassment during work. Commenting on the #MeToo Movement, the actor said, &lsquo;I completely understand the thing that people are facing. I do everything possible to counter it. Just because I am not doing it one way, doesn&rsquo;t mean that I am not countering those things or I am not against it. I am, but I have a different approach.&rsquo;
Earlier, Nithya also admitted that she walked out of a film as someone in the project was accused of sexual misconduct. &lsquo;I do it, but I do it silently. I have said &lsquo;no&rsquo; to a film because of something like that,&rsquo; she said.

Shefali earned a nomination in Best Performance by an Actress category for her role in the Netflix series Delhi Crime Season 2. &nbsp;The other nominees in this category include Denmark&rsquo;s Connie Nielsen, UK&rsquo;s Billie Piper and Mexico&rsquo;s Karla Souza.
Sarbh secured the nomination in the Best Performance by an Actor category for his work in the SonyLIV series Rocket Boys. He shares this nomination with Argentina&rsquo;s Gustavo Bassani, UK&rsquo;s Martin Freeman and Sweden&rsquo;s Jonas Karlsson.
Vir Das has been nominated for a Netflix comedy special titled 'Vir Das: Landing'. The other nominations in this category are France&rsquo;s Le Flambeau, Argentina&rsquo;s El Encargado and UK&rsquo;s popular comedy show Derry Girls Season 3.
Producer Ekta Kapoor will get the International Emmy Directorate Award at the 51st International Emmy Awards Gala.

Veteran actor Waheeda Rehman, who will be conferred with the Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award, is happy that people ultimately recognised her work. Speaking with India Today, Waheeda said that she's happy and feels you get your regards when you work with dedication and honesty. She dedicated the award to her colleagues and the film industry. 'Whoever I am today is because of them,' she said.
'I am so happy that people ultimately recognised my work. I feel one should keep working with dedication and honesty, then you do get your regards,' she told India Today.
'I want to dedicate this award to all my colleagues, my film industry, everybody from every department. This is for them. In movies, you don&rsquo;t do it alone. Even the greatest director needs his cast to convey his ideas,' she added.
Waheeda Rehman is known for her work in films like Pyaasa, Kaagaz ke Phool, Chaudhavi Ka Chand, Saheb Biwi Aur Ghulam, Guide and Khamoshi among others.
The news was announced by Information and Broadcasting minister Anurag Thakur, who took to X (formerly Twitter), and praised Waheeda Rehman&rsquo;s contributions to cinema. He also said that the actor has exemplified &lsquo;dedication, commitment and the strength of a Bharatiya Nari&rsquo;.

Actor Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha tied the knot on September 24 and many videos from their wedding ceremony have been doing the rounds on the internet.
Recently, a video surfaced online that shows the groom dancing to the dhol beats with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab's Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
The video was shared by Arvind Kejriwal AAP's fan page on Instagram.
The pre-wedding festivities of Parineeti and Raghav commenced in Delhi and were then resumed at Udaipur&rsquo;s Taj Lake Palace. Parineeti's chooda ceremony, followed by a welcome lunch and a ceremonious sangeet night was held on September 23.
For the wedding, Raghav Chadha entrusted his maternal uncle and designer Pawan Sachdeva for the ceremony attire, while Parineeti donned a heavenly golden lehenga with her groom's name embroidered in Hindi on her veil.
Now, if reports are to be believed the newlyweds will reportedly be hosting two wedding receptions- in Delhi and Mumbai. One will be attended by politicians and the other by their friends in the entertainment industry.
Parineeti and Raghav reached Delhi on September 25. They made their first appearance as a married couple in Udaipur a day after their wedding.

Actor Nayanthara and husband-filmmaker Vignesh Shivan celebrated the first birthday of their twins Uyir and Ulag on September 26. They shared a series of photos with their babies along with heartfelt captions.
Nayanthara wrote on Instagram, &lsquo;En Mugam Konda. En Uyir. En Gunam Konda &hellip; En Ulag (Waited for a long time to post our pics together with our lovely boys). Happy birthday dear sons Uyir Rudro Neel and Ulag Daiwik.&rsquo;
She added, &lsquo;Appa and amma (mother and father) love you two beyond what words could explain! Beyond anything and everything in this life! Thank you for coming into our lives and making it so happy! You have brought in all the positivity and blessings, this one full year has been filled with moments to cherish for a lifetime! Love you two! You are our world and our blessed life.&rsquo;

Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara married in June 2022. They announced the birth of twin sons through surrogacy in October last year.
