Cannes 2023: ‘Jawan’ director Atlee & wife Priya make their red-carpet debut; call it a ‘dream come true'

Tamil director Atlee, who is best known for films like ‘Mersal’, ‘Their’, and ‘Bigil’, made his red carpet debut with his wife Priya at the 76th Cannes Film Festival. The couple looked beautiful together as they twinned in all-black outfits. He donned a tux, while Priya wore an elegant saree.

Taking to Instagram, he shared a few photos from the prestigious event and wrote, ‘That’s exactly what they call a dream come true moment, thank god for being kind to us. And thank you so much @bmwindia_official & @bmwkunexclusive for hosting us at the most prestigious #cannes2023’

Besides Atlee, many other Indian celebrities like Aishwarya Rai, Sara Ali Khan, Sunny Leone, Urvashi Rautela, Aditi Rao Hydari, Mrunal Thakur, and Esha Gupta have walked the prestigious red carpet this year.

Atlee has been busy with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’. Other than SRK, his forthcoming directorial also stars Nayanthara, Priyamani, and Vijay Sethupathi. Anirudh Ravichander composed the songs for the film.

‘Jawan’ will be released in theatres on September 7.
