'Brahmastra': Ranbir Kapoor reveals how Shah Rukh Khan reacted when approached for the film

'Brahmastra', starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, released in theatres on September 9 and it is performing exceptionally well at the box office. The film is a visual treat and Shah Rukh Khan's cameo in the film is a major attraction for the audience. King Khan plays the role of a scientist Mohan Bhargav, keeper of powerful ‘Vanar Astra.’

In a recent interview, Ayan Mukerji along with the lead cast opened up about the film and also talked about Shah Rukh Khan's reaction when he was approached for the portrayal of ‘Vanar Astra.’ Ranbir, who visited SRK’s house along with Ayan and Alia, to discuss the film, said that the superstar agreed to do the film instantly. SRK said he'll do whatever they want him to do.
After the release of ‘Brahmastra’, fans are demanding a spinoff of Shah Rukh's character.

Meanwhile, in an interview with NDTV, Ranbir also praised his wife Alia Bhatt for working through her pregnancy. The soon-to-be mom wrapped up shoot for her Hollywood debut ‘Heart of Stones’, co-starring Gal Gadot in July.

‘Brahmastra’, which also stars Amitabh Bachachan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles, has earned over Rs. 300 crore worldwide.
