'Yaariyan 2' day 1: Divya Khosla, Meezaan Jafri's film makes poor start; check collections here

‘Yaariyan 2’ starring Divya Khosla, Meezaan Jafri and Pearl V Puri, which released on October 20, failed to attract the audience on its first day. The film barely earned Rs 60 lakh at the box office on day one of its release, as per early estimates by Sacnilk.com.

According to the report, the film saw an occupancy of 5.65 percent on its first day. The film released on same day as Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Ganapath’. According to Sacnilk, ‘Ganapath’ has made Rs 2.50 crore at the box office on Friday.

About 'Yaariyan 2'
Directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, the film also stars Yash Daasguptaa, Anaswara Rajan, Warina Hussain and Priya Varrier. It is based on a beautiful relationship between cousins and how things change after one of them gets married. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, and Aayush Maheshwari, ‘Yaariyan 2’ is made under the banner of T-Series Films.

About 'Yaariyan'
The first instalment of the film was released in 2014 and was helmed by Divya herself. Himansh Kohli and Rakul Preet Singh played the lead roles in the first part, and it performed well at the box office.
