Vicky Kaushal intervenes after the paparazzi call Shehnaaz Gill ‘Punjab ki Katrina Kaif’

Actor Vicky Kaushal visited the sets of the show ‘Desi Vibes with Shehnaaz Gill’ to promote his forthcoming film ‘Govinda Naam Mera’. He was welcomed with a warm hug by the host and as they greeted each other in front of the paps, one of the cameramen called out ‘Punjab ki Katrina Kaif’, a moniker often attributed to Shehnaaz.

In the now-viral video, Shehnaaz looked baffled after the remark and Vicky cuts in to say that ‘Yeh India ki Shehnaaz Gill hai…’

Following this, Shehnaaz thanks him profusely.

She has also penned an emotional note for Vicky Kaushal. Sharing a series of photos from her show, she wrote, ‘Very seldom you meet a star who makes you feel you are one of them. Very seldom you get this feeling that you know this person from ages and is family. Very seldom, in your second meeting you feel that you know this person like he is family. I guess this is what a true star is. @vickykaushal09 I’m delighted to have met you once again and today’s chat was more than just conversations… I wish you nothing but success, good health and positivity always.’

‘Govinda Naam Mera’, directed by Shashank Khaitan, also stars Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles.

Vicky Kaushal has many films in his kitty including Laxman Utekar’s film with Sara Ali Khan and the Sam Manekshaw biopic that is slated to release on December 1, 2023. Shehnaaz has a collaboration with MC Square in the works, and she will soon make her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan in ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan’.
