Ranbir Kapoor reveals a new tattoo dedicated to daughter Raha during promotions for 'Animal’

Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is busy promoting his upcoming film ‘Animal’, recently made an appearance on ‘Unstoppable With NBK’ with his co-star Rashmika Mandanna. During the show, Ranbir revealed a new tattoo on his collarbone dedicated to his daughter Raha.

Previously, Ranbir got a tattoo in Hindi on his wrist that read ‘Awaara’. This was shortly before the release of his film ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’.

The tattoo's essence resonates with his character in the movie, reflecting a fondness for a vagabond lifestyle. Interestingly, 'Awaara' was a renowned film by Ranbir Kapoor's grandfather, Raj Kapoor.

A few years later, the tattoo was gone and when asked about it, he told Mashable India in 2022, ‘None yet. Hopefully soon. The 8 or something I don’t know. Maybe my (tattoo is) going to be children’s names or I don’t know.’

Ranbir and his wife-actor Alia Bhatt welcomed Raha Kapoor in November 2022. They have not shared any photos of their daughter yet.

The star couple has also requested the photographers in Mumbai not to take their daughter’s pictures.

During a recent appearance at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, Alia spoke about the same and said, ‘I don’t want it to seem like ‘oh I am hiding my daughter’s face.’ I am proud of her. We are proud of our baby. The intention with which it came out initially was that we are new parents, we don’t know how we feel about her face being splashed all over Instagram. She is barely a year old. We don’t find the need for her to be a moment of paparazzi. She is still too little.’

Earlier, Ranbir spoke about fatherhood and said, ‘You know, I have never felt like this ever in my life. And it is pure joy, you know I just want to be at home, I just want to be with her… mujhe kaam nahi karna, kuch nahi karna. (I don’t want to work, I don’t want to do anything.) But aisa kar nahi sakta (But I can’t do that)… but my feeling is just… I can’t explain it! It’s the best feeling in the world!’
