Actor Salman Khan has recently opened up about the emotional turmoil he’s facing during the latest episode of Bigg Boss. This comes after he allegedly received threats to his life from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, especially following the tragic murder of his close friend, politician Baba Siddique, in Mumbai. The film industry has shown its solidarity with Salman, with many coming forward to support him. Recently, singer Mika Singh joined this chorus of support, dedicating a song to Salman during a live performance.

Mika addressed Salman while performing, saying, “Bhai hu main bhai, tu fikar na kar. Uski m** ki, uski b**n ki, jo dekhe idhar.'

Firing at Salman's House

The situation escalated earlier this year when bullets were fired at Salman Khan's residence. The Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for both the shooting and Siddique’s murder, leading to heightened security measures for the actor. Following the increased threats, Salman’s safety protocols have been intensified. For his recent Bigg Boss 18 shoot, strict restrictions were enforced: the crew could not leave the premises until filming concluded, new personnel were barred from entering, and Aadhaar Card verification became mandatory. Additionally, Salman was kept within a confined area, protected by over 60 security guards at all times.

On the work front

Salman’s upcoming film Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, is set to release around Eid 2025. The action-packed film will feature Rashmika Mandanna as Salman’s leading lady, along with notable actors such as Prateik Babbar, Suniel Shetty, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, and Sharman Joshi.
