Happy Birthday, Ananya Panday: Here’s a look at her movies so far

Ananya Panday is the daughter of actor Chunky Panday and costume designer Bhavna Panday. She made her acting debut in 2019 with Punit Malhotra’s ‘Student of the Year 2’, co-starring Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria, which was produced by Dharma Productions. Even though her career spans just 4 years, she has a massive fan following.

Liger (2022)
Ananya Panday co-starred with Vijay Deverakonda in this Puri Jagannadh directorial. A story of an MMA fighter who trains hard and aims to fight like his idol, world renowned MMA fighter Mark Anderson.

Gehraiyaan (2022)
The Shakun Batra directorial starred Ananya alongside Deepika Padukone, Sidhanth Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa. The film shows how Alisha Khanna, an ambitious girl, is in a dilemma as her six year long relationship has grown monotonous, and her career seems to be going nowhere. Just when she starts to accept her reality, her life takes an unexpected turn with the arrival of her cousin Tia and her fiancé Zain, with whom she bonds over a troubled past.

Khaali Peeli (2020)
Starring Ishaan Khatter, Ananya Panday and Jaideep Ahlawat, this film is about childhood sweethearts Pooja and Blackie, who get separated due to circumstances, but reunite years later, when Pooja escapes from the brothel where she is forced to work. She bumps into Blackie, who is now a taxi driver.

Student of the Year 2 (2019)
This teen romantic action comedy is a sequel to the 2012 film ‘Student of the Year’, which starred Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. The film shows how Rohan, played by Tiger Shroff, follows his childhood lover, Mridula, played by Tara, to St Teresa's college hoping to reunite with her. He befriends Manav, the most popular student there, but is constantly at loggerheads with his sister, Shreya, played by Ananya. The life of the trio gets tangled through competition, failure, manipulation and heartbreaks.

Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019)
This romantic comedy starred Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar. It is about Chintu Tyagi, an ordinary, middle class man, who finds himself torn between his wife and another woman.
The fourth installment of ‘Housefull’ franchise starred Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Kharbanda in the lead roles.
