‘Gadar 2’ Twitter review: Netizens hail Sunny Deol's return as Tara Singh; film a ‘massive entertainer'

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer ‘Gadar 2’ released in cinemas on August 11 along with Akshay Kumar’s ‘OMG 2’. The Anil Sharma directorial serves as a sequel to the 2001 film 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha'. Sunny and Ameesha reprise their iconic roles as Tara Singh and Sakina.

The early reviews for the film are pouring in on social media and the film has garnered favourable response from the audience. Many called the film a 'massive entertainer'.

'Gadar 2' is a period action drama, written by Shaktimaan Talwar. 'Gadar 2' features Ameesha Patel, Sunny Deol and Utkarsh Sharma in lead roles. It is set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Tara Singh (Sunny Deol) returns to Pakistan to bring back his son, Charanjeet (Utkarsh Sharma).
