Salman said, &lsquo;For Shah Rukh and I to come together on the big screen, it always needed a special film and I&rsquo;m glad Pathaan is that film. When we did Karan Arjun, it was a blockbuster and now, Pathaan, which is part of YRF&rsquo;s Spy Universe, has also turned out to be a blockbuster. I&rsquo;m aware that audiences love to see us together on screen and I&rsquo;m happy that they have given us so much love in Pathaan. I was floored when Adi narrated the sequence to me and told me about his vision to bring us together on screen again.&rsquo;
&lsquo;Given how closely Adi has known Shah Rukh and me, he truly managed to capture how we are as personalities in the scenes. This is why people are loving us on screen. Also the way Sidharth executed the sequence and presented us was just brilliant. I&rsquo;m happy for Shah Rukh and YRF for all the records that Pathaan is achieving. It is a huge win for Indian cinema that we are able to bring people back to the theatres after the pandemic,&rsquo; he added.
SRK said, &lsquo;Trust me when I say this, Salman and I have always wanted to act together but we were waiting for the right film, the right script because we both knew that there would be incredible excitement to see us on screen but we would have to deliver that promise to audiences because they love us so much. If not, they would be mighty dejected and it wouldn&rsquo;t work for the project. Matlab fans ka sawaal hai, choti script pe nahi chodh sakte types!&rsquo;
SRK continued, &lsquo;So, when Adi told me about the idea to bring the two super spies from YRF&rsquo;s Spy Universe, Tiger and Pathaan, together do some kick-ass action scenes, which I&rsquo;m hoping many people have seen by now, I instantly jumped at it because this idea was delivering the promise of seeing Salman and I on the big screen. I&rsquo;m delighted that people have loved seeing us together in Pathaan.&rsquo;
He also said that it was &lsquo;too much fun&rsquo; with Bhai on sets and he&rsquo;s keeping the Tiger scarf with him as a memento.
&lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; marks SRK&rsquo;s return to the big screen after four years. The film is part of the YRF spy universe, which features &lsquo;War&rsquo; and Salman Khan&rsquo;s &lsquo;Tiger&rsquo; franchise.

Shah Rukh Khan starrer &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; was screened illegally in Pakistan. The Sindh Board of Films Censor (SBFC) has now taken a strict action and the screening has reportedly been stopped.&nbsp;

Shah Rukh Khan starrer &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; released worldwide on January 25 and went on to become a blockbuster. The Siddharth Anand directorial was screened illegally in Pakistan. The Sindh Board of Films Censor (SBFC) has now taken a strict action and the screening, which was being held in the Defense Housing Authority in Karachi, was reportedly stopped.
According to a report in a Pakistani daily, <a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/bollywood/pathaan-becomes-the-fastest-film-to-enter-rs-200-crore-club-beating-kgf-2-and-baahubali-2-1674980214633">&lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo;</a> tickets were being sold online for ₹900 (Pakistani rupee) each. The report also added that these were private screenings being organised by Fireworks Events.
In a report by Dawn, SBFC said, &lsquo;No person shall make or arrange a public or private exhibition of a film by means of cinematograph unless the film has been duly certified for public exhibition by the Board.&rsquo; It also said that for those who are screening the films not certified by the board may be liable to pay fines up to Rs100,000 (Pakistani rupee) and up to three years of imprisonment. &nbsp;
Reportedly, most of the theatres which were screening the film &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; illegally in Pakistan were housefull.

With Col Luthra ji.'Reacting to the post, SRK commented, 'Col Luthraji ko bataya aapne ki aap meri pehli heroine hain (Did you tell Col Luthra that you are my first heroine)!! Filmmaker Hansal Mehta praised actor Shah Rukh Khan and his latest release &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; which has emerged as a blockbuster. In a new interview, he said that &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; has proved that 'a good film will reach the audience'. He added that a good film and a good man can't be stopped for 'too long'.
In an interview with news agency PTI, Hansal said that &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; is as political as perhaps his film &lsquo;Faraaz&rsquo;, but the expression is different.
&lsquo;The way it is done is different, the audience is different. All kinds of films need to be made. If my film has to be made then a Rohit Shetty film also should be made. A Pathaan has to flourish for my film to breathe. The industry is interdependent...A good film is a good film and it will reach the audience. And that is what Pathaan has proven,&rsquo; he said.
He added, &lsquo;You cannot keep a good film and a good man down for too long. There are some really good films that didn't find an audience. But then they found an audience on OTT or somewhere. Times are changing.&rsquo;
Talking about his projects, Hansal said, &lsquo;My intention is to gain a greater understanding of our world, of our times, to seek empathy for the people who suffer through this, through storytelling. The larger human empathy is for the people who go through this kind of ordeal. I will continue doing it. I approach my films with utmost sensitivity. I don't judge my characters, I don't pass judgments through the film, I explore them as human beings.&rsquo;
Hansal's latest film &lsquo;Faraaz&rsquo; is based on the July 2016 terror attack on a bakery in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The film, which stars Zahaan Kapoor and Aditya Rawal in the lead roles, released on February 3.

Actor Raveena Tandon opened up about various issues in a recent interview ranging from body shaming to toxic gossip magazines that could ruin someone&rsquo;s career. Speaking with news agency ANI, Raveena said 90s gossip magazines were the worst as they body-shamed women, slut shamed them and would do everything possible to bring another woman down.
Raveena revealed that she was also body-shamed in the film industry. During her interaction with Smita Prakash, the actor said, &lsquo;No no. I was called a lot of things. 90s ke kholo, TTs, thunder thighs&hellip;miss this and miss that&hellip;&rsquo; She continued, &lsquo;I was plump actually. Started at 16 and a half years, and I was full of baby fat yaar&hellip; which still hasn&rsquo;t gone. Though I don&rsquo;t care now.&rsquo;
When told that she is exaggerating the facts, Raveena said, &lsquo;I remember some of these titles. And not only me, but some other heroines were also called that. Instead of supporting women, what they did was&hellip;firstly all these women editors would fall in love with the heroes. And what the heroes said were the last words. If he wanted to pan a woman, the woman would be panned, shamed, literally, her career ruined in the magazines with nasty articles being put out about her. There were so many untrue articles put out because some hero went and said, &ldquo;Acha, uske bare me aab aisa likh do&hellip;&rdquo; and it would be the last word. And if there would be an apology, that would be on the last line of some other issue of the magazine. It would be written &lsquo;The story carried earlier ultimately proved not to be true&rsquo;. And who will read that then? The screaming headlines already made the news, right?&rsquo;
Raveena Tandon said that she decided to take a break after marriage as she was displeased with the &lsquo;viciousness&rsquo; of &lsquo;90s journalism.
