Amala Paul ties the knot with boyfriend Jagat Desai; shares pictures

Actor Amala Paul, who made her Bollywood debut with Ajay Devgn's 'Bholaa', has tied the knot with her boyfriend Jagat Desai.

The lavender-themed wedding was held in Kochi under Christian rituals.

Amala took to Instagram to share her wedding pictures and wrote that they are celebrating the love and grace that brought them together. She sought love and blessings as she married her 'divine masculine'.

Amala wrote, ‘Celebrating the love & grace that brought us together. #Married to my divine masculine. Seeking your love and blessings (tiara emoji) (red heart with sparkle emojis) #sacredunion.’

The couple can be seen twinning in lavender. While Amala is wearing a top and skirt with a matching statement necklace, the groom wears a lavender dupatta on a white designer kurta-pyjama.

In the first picture, the actor is holding her husband’s hand along with a bouquet. In another picture, the couple is smiling as fireworks adorn the rest of the frame.

Jagat also shared another set of pictures from the wedding. He wrote, ‘Two souls, one destiny, walking hand-in-hand with my divine feminine, for the rest of this lifetime. (lavender heart and tiara emojis) #married #twinflame.’

Amala’s previous marriage

Amala Paul was earlier married to Tamil director AL Vijay, but the two divorced, after three years of their wedding, reportedly when her in-laws disagreed with her on continuing her acting career.

Amala is best known for her work in Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu films.

She has been praised for her roles in films such as ‘Deiva Thirumagal’ (2011), ‘Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi’ (2012), ‘Run Baby Run’ and ‘Mili’ (2015).

Amala Paul will be next seen in the Malayalam survival drama ‘Aadujeevitham’.
