UP Election 2022: PM Modi hits the gym in Meerut. Watch the viral video

Prime Minister Narendra Modi never shies away from flaunting his fitness. On Sunday too, the PM hit the gym after laying the foundation stone of the Major Dhyan Chand Sports University in UP's Meerut.

The video of PM Modi checking out training equipment at the sports complex gym has gone viral. PM Modi can be seen doing shoulder exercise in the viral video.

The University will be established at Salawa and Kaili villages of Sardhana town at an estimated cost of about Rs 700 crore.

Hockey and football fields, a ground for basketball, volleyball, handball, and kabaddi, a lawn tennis court, a gymnasium hall, a synthetic running stadium, a swimming pool, a multipurpose hall, and a cycling track will all be part of the sports university's construction. Facilities will be available for sports including archery, weightlifting, shooting, canoeing, kayaking, gymnastics and squash.
