BJP’s Bhupesh Chaubey has decided to face anti-incumbency and anger in the way of his re-election head on - through the path of repentance.

Addressing constituents in Sonbhadra, Chaubey climbed on his chair, held his ears and did sit-ups - seeking forgiveness for mistakes that he made during the past 5 years of his tenure.

While the audience cheered, some of his party colleagues tried to stop him. But Chaubey remained determined in his penance.
