Here's why Sena's Sanjay Raut thinks Owaisi and Mayawati must get Bharat Ratna

A day after the BJP's spectacular victory in Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut took a jibe at BSP chief Mayawati and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi.

The Sena MP said that the two leaders should be conferred with Padma Vibhushan and Bharat Ratna for contributing to BJP's win.

Opposition parties have consistently called Owaisi BJP's B team. Asaduddin Owaisi fielded candidates on 100 seats in UP and scored a duck.

Mayawati was also accused of lying low in these elections to help the BJP.

On its dismal performance in Goa, Uttar Pradesh and Manipur, Shiv Sena chief spokesperson Sanjay Raut said his party received less votes than NOTA (none of the above) because it fell “short of the notes” the BJP used.
