Pushpendra Saroj and Priya Saroj fought on Samajwadi Party's ticket. Shambhavi Choudhary and Sanjana Jatav, fielded by the LJP and the Congress respectively, were also declared winners.

Meet GenZ candidates set to become India’s youngest MPs

Four candidates, all aged 25, are set to become the youngest members of Parliament (MPs), two among them are Dalit women, after winning 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

On June 4, election results were declared. Pushpendra Saroj and Priya Saroj, who fought on Samajwadi Party's ticket announced winners. Shambhavi Choudhary and Sanjana Jatav, fielded by the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and the Congress respectively, were also declared winners.

Meet The 4 Youngest MPs

Shambhavi Choudhary

Shambhavi Choudhary of the Lok Janshakti Party is the daughter of Ashok Choudhary, who has been a minister in the Nitish Kumar cabinet since 2019.

Shambhavi, who belongs from Dalit community, won from the Samastipur constituency after defeating her nearest rival - Sunny Hazari of Congress.

Earlier, while addressing a campaign rally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had praised her as the youngest NDA candidate.

Sanjana Jatav

Sanjana Jatav, a candidate of Congress, won from the Bharatpur constituency in Rajasthan by defeating BJP's Ramswaroop Koli.

She is a member of Dalit community and had also fought the Assemby poll in 2023 but lost by just 409 votes.

Sanjana is married to a Rajasthan police constable, Kaptan Singh.

Pushpendra Saroj

He made his debut in politics as a candidate of Samajwadi Party from the Kaushambi parliamentary seat.

He won by defeating sitting BJP MP Vinod Kumar Sonkar by a margin of 103,944 votes.

He is the son of five-time MLA and former Uttar Pradesh Minister Inderjit Saroj.

Priya Saroj

Samajwadi Party candidate Priya Saroj won from the Machhlishahr seat by defeating sitting BJP MP Bholanath.

She is the daughter of three-time MP Toofani Saroj.
